salt will probably help....hanging them on a clothes line open like a sheet would be even better .they would dry in the breeze. IN MY OPINION. She probably ....would not care to do that thought?? Quills

Freezer is a better option. Second best is just putting a 1/4" layer of salt on a damp (not soaking) hide. If you're wanting to salt a hide in water, I would consider pickling. The pickling ratio...

So the mother in law three in about 1.5kg of salt in around 20L of water with 4 hides. I just remembered ine was still soaking in lime. My guess is I'll have to dump that one when I get home tomorrow....
